I wasn’t able to exercise today as I’ve got lower back pain. I’ve had a pretty uneventful day spending most of it on FM20 and reading the French Revolution book. It’s shocking to learn of la terreur and how it stemmed from populist politicians “out-populisting” each other to the degree that if you did not agree wholeheartedly with their version you were labelled as a traitor and executed. It reminded me of Brexit and how some of the staunches leave supporters accused those who wanted to remain of being traitors.
