I was in a good mood this morning – I had been sorting my random things in to categories and finding better places to keep them when my mum came in upset. Dulcie lied about where she was last night. Said she was with Fran when she was actually with Josh. Tao phoned my mum late last night to let her know as Dulcie had accidentally sent one of the other girls a picture of her with Josh. It seems Dulcie’s friends have lost their patience with her now and she seems to have picked Josh over them. I was helping my mum decide what to do but I couldn’t think of a solution. I then asked my mum how long it would take for me to drive from Hasan’s to Canterbury and she started telling me what time I should leave our house. I interrupted and said that I wanted to know how long it takes to get to Canterbury from Hasan’s and she stormed out calling me self-righteous. I’m finding it difficult living with my family as they drag my mood and energy down. My mum takes everything so personally and she’s made herself anxious with all the conspiracy videos she consumes; Dulcie is the most stubborn person I know. I get on really well with Lana but she’s back in London; I can’t wait to get back up there too.
Today is my last weekday off before I start my new job. I’m going to Canterbury with Hasan and Sarita – it looks like it’s going to rain but I’m happy with that. It will be good to get out.
