I’ve finished my first week in the new job. It’s been great. Everyone is very welcoming and I’m looking forward to building out my Infrastructure space. I’m particularly impressed by the level of the junior members on the team. They are all hosting meetups/roundtables and seem “on it”. Its also nice to have bosses that are good at BD.
My back has been in agony and 8ve barely been able to walk all day. I shouldn’t have played yesterday but I did enjoy myself and the 5 pints at the pub after! I hobbled down the road to meet Pat, Monti and Jack at lunch. It was good to see all of them. I will make sure I stay in touch with them all as they are only down the road from me.
I was supposed to meet Reece tomorrow but I’m going to have to cancel due to my back pain. I need a full day resting it.
